Current pricing programs ??

Hey all,

Got a call from dealer yesterday. My custom ordered, 2008 F-350, Dually, Diesel, Lariat, should be hitting the dealers lot any day/minute now.

My deal is $500 over invoice.

Before I sign the paper work, is there any pricing programs, rebates, incentives, financing opportunities, etc. That I should know about?

Thanks again for all the great info that helped me decide on my purchase. And yes, I know, this thread is worthless without pics..
- Don't worry, the pics are coming.

B

I'd suggest you get an X plan pin number. That would put you at a little under invoice, with no additional charges. It's 99.6% of invoice plus a $75 admin fee. You can go towards the bottom of this forum under the General heading then go to the car/truck buying advice (or something like that section ) section. There is a thread there for x plan requests. You can also try over on the Blue Oval forum (Ford employees) and ask for an x plan pin # there. There were owner loyalty and regular rebates that expired yesterday. I don't know if they have been replaced or renewed yet. Best of luck with your new truck.

I can't seem to find it.

Thanks,

Ok, found it..
Thanks..

Can someone please explain to me what the X Plan Pin number is?
And how it works.. Also, you say the loyalty and regular rebates expired yesterday. Does anyone have the new information.
time is of the essence here. My truck will be in on Thursday.

Thanks,
B

I'd suggest you go to the Blue Oval forum and check out the first section for Ford employees. It has a lot of information on X plan. X plan is basically a way to buy Ford products at a discount through their employees. I don't know how many X plan pin #'s each employee can give out.
Ford's web site is still showing the rebates that expired yesterday. Your dealer should be able to tell you the available rebates when you complete your purchase. The dealer does not have to accept X plan purchases but I believe most will. One nice thing about x plan ( other than saving some money) is that the price is set by Ford and no extra charges are added. The invoice for your vehicle will show you all the different buying plans offered by Ford and exactly how much the cost will be for each.
