I may be back
to those of you who rember me,I had the 06 f250,and over reacted to the turbo fart problem,and got the 06 chevy with 8.1,well first trip out with the 8.1,I really miss my deisel,so i have a dealer who's going to the auction tommorow and find my 07 or 08,the 07 will have the 6.0 I am sure,but hey This time i will just stay on top of them if it starts bugging me,My ? is before takeing delv of said truck,should i have the look and make sure no tuners or chips have been on it and then get them to put it in writeing so they dont say later IT WAS CHIPPED,cause i wont put one on it. And hi everybody.

That sounds like a good idea but it also sounds easier said than done. What are you gonna do if you come up with that code? (I forget the actually code) From what i understand it's the same code if the computer has been flashed or the battery has been disconnected.

The dealer can put anything in writing they want, but Ultimately FMC makes the decisions on warranty status.
Before you buy i would get a copy of the Oasis report to see what warranty work has been done on the vehicle and the status of the warranty.
