Rust in doors and tailgate
Hey all Im new to this site. I recently read about the crack in the door and the rust also. My question is will Ford fix this?? My truck has 66,000 miles on it and I thought it was a little premature to be rusting for a truck with the miles. Im not disapointed at Ford or anything cause I love my truck and everything just a little surpised is all that it started rusting. And Im only 21 and Ive got a lot of money in my truck as do all of you. If Ford doesnt fix it does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent it from rusting. I wash it at least once a week, and wax it about twice a month. Id appreciate any insight you all might have. Just thought Id say thanx in advance. Have a good one.

hey yeah if you contact your dealer they should fix it if it is under warrenty. they fixed mine. i had a month left. also they will not fix your door cracks under warrenty but if they fix the rust they will probably put new door skins on. the new door skins will have a reinforcement piece where the cracks are so they wont crack any longer. i know this becasue i had it done to mine.
