Tomorrow will only reach 91, looks like a good day to finish up the 460 and go through the 9-inch for my '36.

Might finish up the steering box relocation on the '31 first though, since I'll be in the shade for that, then migrate to shop.

The heat cooperated yesterday...humidity was a pisser though...but got the OP in, pan welded up, sealed and bolted in. Just need info on the PR's (posted on the 385 forum) to complete the engine.

Did get the 9inch apart too, broke one of my pullers though, carrier bearings didn't want to leave thier home, had to use some heat to get them to budge. Got everything cleaned up, but can't find where I put the install kit at, so having a delay in putting it back together.

Sounds like you have been busy despite the heat. I have been doing some rearrangine in my domicile as I can do that with the AC on. Haven't worked much on the truck.

truck is running fine anyway, well, except for a few nagging things, but still starts up when I ask it to, and it takes me to work. (Is that a good thing?)
