i am looking for a 429 project motor the only thing i need is a good block with no cracks and may be a crank but i do not need it if any one knows where i can find one please let me know.

 

just go to the local junkyard and pick up a 460- theyre exactly the same block. the only difference is the crank and pistons. get one from a vehicle made before 1987 and itll have a carb on it. 1988 they went to fuel injection and the top end of the motor is completely different, but its the same basic shortblock.
