Mass Air Flow testing - I'm confused
I have a 97 motorhome with the V10 Triton and I am trying to test my MAF sensor per the instructions in my service manual and I'm a little confused on one of the steps.
The manual says to probe the terminals MAF SIG and MAF SIF RTN for continuity. I did this and I get an open circuit. The reason I'm confused is because one of the previous test steps, not this test step, says that this test does not apply to the year 97. So can anybody tell me if I should get a reading between MAF SIG and MAF SIF RTN on a 97 vehicle?

The cardone replacement is the same for the 97 as the 99, so the procedure should be the same. There should be some resistance I think.
