don't worry about your timing lights, and forget lining up the marks, just loosen the distributor body, and adjust clock/CCW until you find the best idle speed, then clamp it down, just don't grab the wires while your doing this, or you'll find out why not. if you haven't started the engine up yet, just set it at 10 degrees BTDC, that's a good baseline to work from. This will be adequate for your break-in, then start messing with it. If you go any less, it's gonna backfire if you hit the throttle too hard. I havn't used that profile before, but I have used a couple of the Xtreme Energy series, and I have had outstanding results with both.
