Update on rear end problem
Put a punch hole in the middle of the broken bolt in the carrier
Got a 1/8 x 12 drill bit
Drilled a hole in the middle with the bit
Used a #2 easy out by black and decker
Bam it came out in 2 minutes. I didnt have to change the carrier or do any major work to that area, and the total job wasnt that long.
So anyone else who gets a bolt broken in the carrier on a 8.8 inch rear end, there ya go.
A set of transfer punch's work VERY well to center punch the dead center of a hole.
