Im sorry, but I kill every single one that I can. In fact...I was stung just yesterday while loading the truck up with fire wood for our camping trip.
You sure it was a bee and not a yellowjacket? I see people call yellowjackets "bees" all the time, but they are different. Bees are a little more orange and black, plus they're fuzzy. Yellowjackets have bright yellow and black stripes, and can be killed with impunity as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, it was a yellowjacket. Honey bees, I will usually leave alone unless they are acting in a threatening manner, or if they are somewhere where they shouldnt be (or if they are just annoying me for some reason).
Back when I was 7-8 years old, I stepped on a yellowjacket's nest and was stung 43 times all over my body. I will go out of my way to kill any, and all yellowjackets/hornets/wasps....
bees are good, but I can kill all the yellow jackets an wasps right?
Boy I sure do! I can't help but think that it is these nasty little creatures that have killed off so many of the bees! I used to see honey bees all the time, now there seems to be nothing but yellow jackets and hornets. They have built their nests all over my house and in every nook and cranny in the barn and 'retired' vehicles. I make it my daily chore to find the nests and kill all of the little buggers!
Yeah, but be careful with the Yellow Jackets...I read that when squished, they emit a pheromone that sends a signal to any hive members that there's a threat, and to come and get ya!
I have no doubt about that! I am always dodging the little buggars! But I tend to hit the nest first, and then catch the stragglers as they come in. Brake Kleen is an amazing product! Instant death, no residue or funny smell, and it's cheaper than Hornet Spray! And I can use it in the shop when they're all dead!
