My truck will not do a burn out it bucks and the tires do spin but it bucks and looks like Im having sex in the bed lol thats great eh...is it the l/s? or the abs?
cant be ABS caust that only prevents the wheels from lockin up, not spinning in place... id say your just not doing it right or your tranny is messed up... or mayb your tires are too grabby
You really shouldn't be trying to do a burnout and risking axle hop with that much lift, unless you want to put that truck on its lid. I've seen it happen.

The 4.6L trucks have a better torque converter that stalls higher which gets the engine up into the sweet spot of the torque band faster. The 5.4L stalls too low and makes a burnout hard to do. Especially a 4x4 with 265/70/17's with 3.55 gears. I'll be going to 4.10's if I ever get the cashola to do so.
My 4.6l will do a damn nice burn out now with my current mods...but with my new 5.4l going in and using the higher stall 4.6l torque converter and swaping all my mods to the 5.4l..... It should be very interesting....hehe... Especially since i know i need to rubber before winter....
