Push start C-6?????

Can you push start a truck with a C-6 ??? I've heard yes. I've heard no. Would like to know for sure.

I would say no, unless maybe you had a manual valve body. Never tried it...or heard of if, but I doubt it'd work.

no, you can not push start a vehicle with a C6 trans.

Push start stopped in about 1965-66.

For this to happen the transmission needs a rear pump for the drive shaft to turn.
