87-91 steering column pictures
hey I did a search and didnt find what I wanted my father in laws 1988 will turn the switch enough to turn on pump and instrument cluster wont start or shift from neutral i am pretty sure the lock cylinder and the actuator are bad by looking at the ignition rod moving and it turns without much resistance !What i am really looking for are the pics and instuctions that someone here has in his gallery that i can print because the truck is at his workplace and am gonna have to fix it there thanks in advance !!!

I just had this happen to me about 2 months ago on my 87 F-250. It wouldnt start with the ignition switch and I couldn't move the column shifter. But you can move the column shifter from park to neutral or wherever? If so you might just have to pull the steering wheel off and look to see what came disconnected or broke. It you can't move the column shifter then you might as well just go get another steering column and replace it. It only takes about 45 minutes to swap one out.
