No hail damage, only a little shower over nite and lots of high wind, no hail.
I didn`t have time to check for wind damage when I left this morning and it was dark when I got home tonite.
None at home or on our north land but some down south but not sure how much yet - just talking to guys from there. We have some hail insurance but you cant afford to insure to the level you were going to produce, just to the level of expenses that went in - canola never got it but some oats with 130+ yield potential got hit - might end up as green feed if second growth comes back but thats all good!
Weekend was good otherwise - lets say - 'love was in the air!!!'
Maybe 'love' is the wrong 4 letter 'l' word to use!
yeah i was at work in Southey(40 min north of regina)..awhile back(not sure what night that storm hit)..and on my way home about 9:30...i ran into hail...i was travelling about 90km/h and all of a sudden chips started to appear on my windshield...i whipped into the nearest backroad and parked myself as far into a bush and under a tree as i could....turns out it was a little wet under that tree and i had to use 4x4 to get out..tssk tskk...but it saved me i think.
overall damage is 4 chips in my windhsield....3 small dents on my hood...and about 4 on my roof....cant seem to find any others..and i just washed/waxed it...
i dont think its worth a claim since my deductable is $700...unless maybe i get a new paintjob...in which case i suppose it would be.....but i need manifolds first...think SGI would believe me if i told them hail damaged my manifolds?...hahaha
