well today, my brother wrecked his focus and so i had to get a uhaul car hauler (the one where the car is all the way on the trailer, not where 2 wheels are on the ground still) and drive from simi valley to camarillo (los posas exit on the 101, over the canajo grade to olsen road on the 23) to get his focus home. Since i have the 6 inch lift and 35s it was a little...well...ill say it was lacking when the trailer alone was on the truck, i was dissappointed at how much the empty car hauling trailer effected the truck. However when i put the car onto the trailer, i really didnt notice much of difference between empty trailer and full trailer. I was actually quite happy with the stock, 3.77 (or 3.73, whatever it is) gears, even though i have the big tires and heavy fabtech lift. so i was overall ploeased with the towing abilities after the lift, and as soon as i get the 4.56s and my edge performance in cab programmer itll literally haul!!!!woo hoo!!!

I used to live around there for years. Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo. moved to Tennessee 13 years ago. That was refreshing to hear some of the old stomping grounds. I can only imagine how much it has changed/grown.
The new gears will realy do your truck a world of good.
On edit: The one thing i do not miss is the dang smog laws. We don't have any back here. I run straight stacks, no kitty, no muffs.

ah yeah its a great area, and im sure in 13 years, it has changed immensly!!! no more orange groves, lots more mexicans!! yeah...smog laws...im not a fan, except that our air is already pretty dirty, so it does its small bit to keep the air just that much cleaner. I have 4 cats on my baby right now!! not cool, not cool at all! but i still managed to make it sound pretty good!!! enjoy the warm muggy humid tenessee summer!
