Question

C6 Trans

Can some one tell me if a C6 trans from behind a 78 mercury grand marquis with a 400 will bolt up to my 77 460 that i put in my bumpside 2 wd ?

I hope someone knows. Thats a 385 series 460 and a 335 series 400. I just told my Brother that they would. But I may well be wrong.

From what I have gathered over the years it will. The 351-400M have the same bolt pattern as a 460.

yup direct bolt on.same ol same ol.even the converter the same bolt pattern
