OK, so we've checked out a few trucks 205 & 350 FX4's and have noticed something. With black leather interior, every 250 FX4 we've looked at has a completely solid black interior...dash, center console, everything. BUT, the 350 (and for the record, we've only seen one) has a two tone black/tan dash and center console, door pannels,e tc. It's beautiful. Is this a 350 option or what's up??
Im not sure if its a 350 itself option, but some trucks are optioned differently. In the FX4 trim, you can choose the interior, depending on the color of the truck.

Ordering the FX4 package gets you the black cloth or optional leather and you can specify either a black or tan interior. If you go with the tan you get the two tone look. I think once the ordering folks at the dealerships figure this out the tan will be the hot ticket with the FX4. I've seen one on a lot, out of about 10 trucks, and it looks incredible!
In the FX4 your interior choices are Medium Stone and Black, they both come with black seats. Medium Stone is the color combo your describing that you like. I agree it's the way to go.
That would be a tough switch...thats alot of parts that have to be changed. I wish they offered the black interior on all of the trucks, then you could really have a choice.
