I know this topic has been covered "ad nauseum ', but here's my question:
Can you use the OEM FORD wheel from a 2005 Crew Cab 6.0L SD (short bed) and increase the tire size from the original 275/70/17 to 295/70/17 without having to install a lift or buy new wheels to avoid rubbing when turning?
I am looking at the Toyo MT's spoeciufiucall as they have a 295 but not a 285.
I agree. I have added 315/70/17 BFG AT's to my '06 CC SD 5.4L. I did NOT install any sort of lift at all, and there is no rubbing, bumping or anything. This includes tight turning and moderate off roading. So far I have been quite pleased with the setup (Of course I have been a BFG A/T user for many years!)
