Hypertech Users Question
Had a Hyper tech since January on my truck. In the last couple of months I've had some really hard shifts when I let of the pedal. I mean it felt like someone had just rear-ended me while I was doing 60 MPH going down the road. Yesterday my truck just died on me, I popped it into N and it started right back up. No more problems.
Called Hypertech and mentioned to the guy I they had nayone else with these problems and maybe some advice like not instaling the firmer shifts. He told me to take the programmer adn that's it. Seems if you sell something you could offer some better advice or something.
Anybody else have or had these problems?? Truck has 105,000 on it no problems until a few months ago.

Yea I'd try it in stock mode too. I think you got something else going on with the tranny more than the Hypertech. If you have been using it for a couple months with no problems, I would think you would have noticed something sooner than now. Putting it back to stock will answer your question. Good luck and let us know what you find out. I run a Hypertech too now for 2 years with no problems.

I took it out of Stage 3 down to Stage 2 and said Y to the Shift Kit Question so it would not install the firmer shifts, did that on Friday. Drove to Huntsville pulling trailer on Sat and since then it has not done it anymore. Knock on wood. But the stall yesterday has got me worried.
