Well, I just went through and replaced every ignition part: Voltage Regulator, Ignition switch, Starter solenoid, recrimped, regrounded everything..... And still no start
I realized that my B&M Shifter's Neutral Safety switch was stuck in (1), I reached down, slid it up to (P) and VWOLA!!
Well, at least I am good to go now for while electrically. Its been a while since I have freshened up the electrical. Been maybe 10 years or more.
I will look into the higher output alternator. I noticed mine is stamped "75A" Is this considered the "High Output"?
75A is more than average and more than you'll need unless you have a big sound system or lots of other electrical add-ons. Running your lights, etc. should not draw more than 35 amps or so.
