roll up soft bed cover

Does anyone have one of those roll up soft bed covers? How do you like it? If not would anyone recommend one? Im thinking about getting one for a little bit better gas mileage, and in case im hauling something i can roll it out of the way. any opinion helps.

You really won't get any better gas mileage. Maybe .0003 MPG, but it won't be too noticeable IMO. I have an Access Roll Up and I love it. Holds up great and looks good. Just be careful with the plastic buckles when you roll it up and sinch it down. I've seen many broken off trucks and then it's a PITA to replace them. I have a few pics of mine in my gallery.

I've got a soft roll back on mine, I got it so I could still use my tool box, just cut down the runners and it fit great. There not as secure as a hard cover but it's nice for an ATV or something that won't fit under a hard cover. Only thing I dislike about mine is the lock takes a little work, but it's usually the first try.

Hope that helps

I have a pace edwards bed locker, but my grandfather has a Truxedo Lopro and I installed a QT this afternoon for a customer. I prefer Truxedo over access, there are little differences that I feel access could use some major inprovement on for fit and finish.

Extang also makes great covers.

I have the truxedo low pro on my truck. Very happy. A snap to install. Self tensioning in all kinds of weather. Velco sides and a secure rear closing mechanism. Been on for two years and still looks and operates like new.

I have the Extang Black Max full bed access roll up. This is my 2nd roll up and I had the first one for 7 yrs until it, like the truck it was on was totaled. I love the new Black Max and the non metal snaps, I know most hate them, but not me.

I just installed a BakFlip and love it. Bone dry, easy install and removal, access to partial or entire bed.
