Decided to replace all my rotors and pads on my 2000 Expedition two days agao. They would not budge. I used PB Blaster, rubber mallet, wood block, and a torch. Nothing would work. I them used my Sawzall. I live in up-state New York and the salt here is terrible on these.
Three cuts: One cut, then 90 degrees from the next, and then another 90 degrees. I cut as close to the hub as I could get. It took one blade for each cut. They were cheap ones I had left over.
Once the cut was made they came off with one whack at it with a rubber mallet.
I went with the Cryo Powerslot and Hawk pads. Well worth the time and money. Wife is very happy, no more pulsing in the peddle and stops MUCH better.
