Anyone ever do a custom exhaust for the 300 six? I've got a '93 (FI) and was surprised when I looked under the hood, the manifolds and downpipes look like a scaled up version of what was on my old BMW 535i. Anyone ever run true duals back to the rear of the truck? I'm thinking parallel pipes just like the BMW. I loved the sound of that Bimmer and I know a 300 won't rev like the "little" BMW 3.5 but I can't resist playing...
Yeah, I know "I could have had a V-8" but this truck was there and torque is more useful than revs in a truck anyway.
Do you mean split headers with dual exhaust all the way out to the back of the truck? A friend of mine gave me a set off of his old truck. 2 pc. headers with dual pipes running next to each other until it goes past the rear end, then they turn and go towards the sides of the bed. Before I install them I'll take a pic and try and post it.
