My truck dont have clearcoat so does that mean I can waz it? Its gotta have clearcoat to be able to wax? All I have is my primer with Primer Sealer over it
man, you gotta base coat that thing...before you wax it. Some wax's will penetrate the primer and you'll have hell trying to finish the job as the paint might come up on you unless you take off all the primer and start over...many waxes contain bad stuff.
You can get some cheap basecoats in acrylic enamel...even rattle or brush but don't rely on 'primer sealer' as it is no where near a sealing type of paint in regards to weather etc.
If nothing else get some cheap enamel and get it on there...folks here can answer all your questions and give advise on how to go about it cheaply...DO NOT PUT WAX ON THE PRIMER!!!

You'll want to sand down and re-prime the truck before you paint it. Clean it well to get off any contaminants the truck might have picked up from the road, environment and such. I don't think his comment was meant as offense, I think he was thinking you were posting as a joke more than anything, especially since the thought of waxing over primer is a pretty silly thing to do, it won't provide much of anything but contamination for a future paint job.
