What compression?
I'm putting a 400 that I have into my bush truck and wondering what the compression ratio would be. The parts guy told me it was a 1970 engine from a large car (LTD or station wagon, etc.) The main and rod bearings were ford pieces so it may have never been apart. Anyone know what ratio it would be?

The 400 introduced in model year 1971 was 9.0:1 compression. later years were all low compression.
