Stuck On Full
hey guys
my fuel guage has been stuck on full for about the last 2000 miles. i never wanted to drop the tank so i was just useing the tripometer the whole time. its there anything i can check without dropping the tank? and with dropping the tank what am i going in after? i thought maybe it was my float stuck but its been 2000 miles and still no change what so ever

If your float is stuck or gone out, dropping the tank is the only way to fix it. As I posted in the link Alan pointed out, I was able to get the connection off my float with the tank still in the truck - which is not easy to do - but I checked it and it shows my sending unit is sending a full signal to the dash. Problem found, now just need to get it fixed.
