Edmunds states the newly designed F-150 will be out late next year. When GM was in the process of introducing their new 900 line of trucks there were ALL kind of photo shots of the new models way before their release. Not the case with with Ford's new F-150 so far. I wonder how much money this concerted effort by Ford to keep the new F-150 "under wraps" is costing them? And WHY do they call these units mules?

 

The are test "Mules" that get driven and monitored for potential problems. I don't think that the body covering cost all that much to keep competitors form copying features before they are released.
