95 powerstroke will not start

The motor will not turn over with the key only if I jump the solenoid what is all in line of this circuit. The tranny is new so it shouldn't be the safety switch Thank you Nick

Try replacing the solenoid that you are crossing.

Do you have an alarm in the truck? Starter kill relay for an alarm,can go bad
