Bed cover information 08

Man lots of posts to go through on this topic. Been looking for
something for the 08 short bed SD. all have plus and minus. Guess
main thing for me is security without a clam shell design. Clam
shells found you have to strap it down on your loads and sorta
springs it sometimes. How secure are the soft covers. See
some like the fold a cover. Had a roll n lock on my 150 was
ok, just seeing if something better out there now

I had a pace edwards bedlocker installed on my 97, transfered it to my 02, then to my 04. Loved it. Just bought an 08 and bought a new bedlocker for it. (Old one beginning to look too scratched to put on a new truck.) Quite secure, rolls up at the push of a button. They also make a manual version called the jackrabbit. Hope this helps. Hunter40

Ordered a Roll and lock for my new 08 and found that the instructions were to cut
three inches of the plastic lining from the tail gate...this protects that internal working of the door, the handle and the step. Said nothing doing and ordred a Pace Edwards Jack rabbit that should be installed tomorrow.
