vibration while braking

vibration while braking
Has anyone have or had a similar problem.When I apply brakes at highway speeds above 50 mph. I get a slight vibration in truck ,very slightly in the brake pedal. It feels like it is comming from rear of truck I tried to rotate tires and also installed new rear rotors still the same .I noticed while inspecting old rotors with dial indicator that I have .05 end play in rear axel is this to much ?( rear rotors ran true ) .Any ideas THANKS

If you feel it in the pedal, its probably the front rotors. You usually will feel it more in the seat if its a vibration from the rear.
Put a dial indicator on the front rotors and see what you find.

Warped rotors are something to look for especially if you had done a lot of pulling on hills. I just traded vans with a friend and it had bad shakes. Turned out to be a cracked rotor. This had also caused some really touchy braking because the crack would grab really well when slowing down....
Fixed it in about 1/2 hour.
