I found a good used set of 37s they look like humvee tires.I was just wondering if a 6" lift would give me enough room to run those tires.Right now I am running 35s with a 4 inch lift, and at full articulation Im getting pretty close to rubbing so i know im going to need more lift I just don't know how much more.
6" you should clear just fine, but as far as I've read up here, you usually have to extend drive shafts, brake lines, etc. for the 6".
If you don't want to go that deep into your wallet, you could always just trim the fenders. I have a 4" on mine now, and would rather keep it at that height and just trim a bit if I find some larger tires... That's just my opinion though.
Cutting would be easier but i could also use the better approach and breakover angles that come with the lift. The driveshaft problem should solve itself.I'm swapping in dana 60 axles front and rear. These axles are going to make me need to shorten the shafts. And at the same time I was going to put the 6 inch lift.Which is going to require longer shafts.I think I might have lucked out on the driveshaft delema. The 2 inches I would have had to shorten my driveshaft for the bigger axles would be countered with the need for longer shafts.Whats your opinion.
