well, went to a drag in Terrace, BC this weekend, ran my truck, there was a fairly low car count, so I got to make about 15passes over the weekend. it was only 1/8 mile....I expected my times to be a bit quicker but I guess its not too bad, my best on for the weekend was 10.78 and my best MPH was 66.97. between the 6speed and the 37s I guess thos times are ok. was launching in 2nd around 2000-2300ish rpm, spun everytime, I didnt trust my front driveshaft to do 4x4 launch. my buddy also had his 05 cummins, his best time was a 10.83..he has 4inch exhaust bullydog chip afe stage 2 banks hi ram and a boost fooler, also running a 6speed and 37s, so im happy I beat his time today! I'll try get some pictures up soon.
Damn, dude that is EXCELLENT for a 6 speed, on tall-*** tires, and two wheel drive launch! What did you shift at, 3500? And, if you can remember, what gear were you in when you crossed the line? To put that in perspective, my truck (found out later with a massive exhaust BP leak), new BTS tranny with stock trans tuning, and 4x4 powerbrake launch, i managed a 9.84. I am thinking that next time i will be around 15 flat in the 1320 and mid 9's in the 1/8. Congrats.
I was shifting between 3000-3200, it was kinda hard on it in the 140 cuz when I put the clutch in it would be overfueled and rev up to 3400. but accross the line evertyime I was in 4th (counting 'L' as first) right at 3grand prettymuch everytime. my MPH was consistantly 65 and 66. my 60fts were hurting me. 2.54 was my best I think. im glad those times are good. I managed to look at my boost once and I was only pushing 24 at best. I dont understand why my truck is slightly faster than my buddys dodge, considering he has almost 100hp on me stock, and hes pushin 42psi....jokes on him
The scenery looks awesome in the background. You guys out west shouldn't take that for granted. Absolutely beautiful. Truck looks awesome too.
I agree it's beautiful up here. And the air is nice and clean too from all the marine air that flows in and rains the pollution out. We get a lot of rain because of that, but it's a good tradeoff.
I might run my F250 tomorrow night. I had a 2000 Ram 4x4 quad cab on 35's with like 2 mods done to it and it went 10.08.
probly an auto. yea the scenery is pretty decent, but we totally take it for granted. matt's sister got some pics and video aswell Ill have to get off them and post up. stupid drag racing just boosted my PMS to a whole new level.
Dan we could use some rain here, at the expense of some dirty air IMO. In the landscaping/outdoor maintenance business, no rain=hungry stomach!
Hkusp if youre area is anywhere as dry as it is 40-50 miles west, you know what i mean when you walk across the grass and it breaks off because its dead.

Man, that sucks Kris. Go ahead and go golfing then. Makes for moster drives. Say hello to your dad for me and I wish you some rain.
our air is mint. and that "track" is only 800ft above sealevel, so fairly good air. its an old airstrip, set up pretty decent for the turnout they get.
