I was driving home yesterday and my CAC tube blew off again! Well anyway it was dark so I drove the 15 miles home with the tube diconnected. Wow, you don't realize how much you need a turbo till you don't have one!!!
Anyway, the emmissions light came on and I don't know how to reset it. Can anyone help?
Unless you have a code reader/scanner that clears codes, disconnecting the batteries for a time will clear it, but then the computer willl need to 're-learn' your driving style. Driving the truck for several drive cycles might also clear the code, provided the problem was fixed.
