Swap Question
Kinda new here, kinda not. Have been using FTE for info off and on for some time now. What I am looking for is a DEFINITE answer. Please no speculations. Please post up if you have done the swap... I have to move quickly!!
I am looking to swap my 2000 PSD 4x4 from an Auto to a manual. I have a complete 99 PSD 4x4 at my disposal (although not for free but REAL cheap). I HATE the auto tranny and there is not an auto worth the money. The only reason I got the auto was to keep the wife happy but she has since learned to proficiently drive a manual.
So let's hear it!! Also the donor vehicle has the floor shift transfer case that I plan to swap over to replace the electronic setup.
Any help, knowledge, and experience would be most appreciated!! And if you're in the area you could help with some busted knuckles too.
