Does the same evo work for a 5.4 and a 4.6? I looked at discount power performance and it has they only have 1 vin for it and it says both 5.4 and 4.6. I was wonder this because I am thinking about bying one from fordfrog206.
you will love this unit. it has a lot of features, and looks very clean with the installation pod. my buddy has a 02 ram 2500, and his edge unit has an angle bracket for the display, rather than a pod unit like for our trucks. i must say, ours looks much better !!!
Thanks for the info. Also what kind of MPG increase are yal seeing. I read on another post that the best wa the 93 octane tune. But does that balance with the 30 cent price difference?
I haven't seen any real increase in mileage from 87 to 93. I like the 87 (towing tune) and not because the gas is cheaper. I have been getting 15 mpg around town.
I have 3.55 and the 4.6. It really doesn't go on the highway much anymore since I got the company van. The roads in S. Fla are flat and speed limit is 45 mph so it is close to highway speeds.

X2
I also run level 2 and average 15-16 mpg.Personally, I just like level 2 better.I like the low end torque more than top end performance.
BTW,I have a 5.4 w/3:73 ls.
Soxfan did it wake your truck up on bottom end? I have te same gears and motor you do (4.6l 3:55 ls) And on bottom end mines a dog it has nothing it wont even push you into the seat at all until the rpms get up around 3 grand or so (guestimat dont have tachometer) then you can feel it start to pull.

The truck is much better of the start I think that it has a much better throttle response from when I hit the gas until when I go. The shift from first to second is 100% better. Hope it helps I really like mine definitly worth $350 it would be hard for me to spend $450 on it though. For $400 you can get a custom tune.
Thanks. I am going to try and get mine from fordfrog206 he said he woul sell it to me for $300 but were not sure on he to make the exchange because he lives in virginia and I live in Arkansas.
