Need help with noise
I had my water pump replaced after the belt broke. During the time that I did not have a belt oit was very difficult to use the brakes. I had to exert a tremendous amount of force to stop. After the work was done I have a horrible amount of powersteering pump noise. The harder you push the brake the louder it gets. The ford mechanic said it was the brake controller making the noise. he did not offer to replace it. he did say that it would need to be replaced. My question is? What do I need to do do now. I am afraid to start home with it making this kind of noise. Do I need to find another ford dealer and request thta it be replaced. Thanks
