vibrations
I have a 2001 supercrew off-road. Vibrates when in drive and the brake on. vibrates at various highway speeds. Replaced the tires already, i bought the truck with 14,00 miles on it and replaced the goodyears with mich. I have 16,000 now. this helped some, but still the vibration when in drive with the brake on. any suggestions?

First a question for you. When you say brake on, is the vehicle moving or sitting still? If sitting still, that rules out all tires, wheels, rotors, driveshaft, and differential. If it's sitting still and vibrates thru the seat with the brakes on and trans in gear, then it's most likely an exhaust drone. Check to make sure that no part of the exhaust is contacting the frame. My truck had this and the dealer ended up putting a mass damper on the Y-pipe on each side of the trans mount. The vibration is all but gone now.
