98 F250 L/D Diff Chatter
I can only feel this chatter when Im pulling my trailer and when I make a left or right hand turn. I took it to a shop and they told me I needed new diff fluid, had it done and still chatters though not quite as bad. I talked to a ford mech yesterday he asked me what type of fluid they used I didnt know at the time so could not tell him. I checked the work order from them and they used 75W90 Synthetic GR / 3L . No mention of friction modifier on the work order.
Have these guys put the wrong fluid in my diff.
