I have a 1991 F150 4WD that I just replaced the E4OD trans at 195,000 miles. I now have 207,000 on the engine and am thinking of rebuilding it. A friend has a 302 block that I would like to rebuild and swap with mine. He dosen't know what it came from or the year. Will it fit my truck or do I need to check something first. Oh, and it has a carb manifold versus my injection system.

The fuel inj. and other parts should bolt righn up with no problems. Be sure to check the balance of the new motor. Yours is a 50oz balance, if the new motor is pre 82 it will have a 28oz balance and will require a different flexplate to mate to your tranny. you can get the correct one from summit racing. 1-800-230-3030.
