Has anyone tried one of these Banks Power Pack Systems (bankspower.com)? They claim "gains of +68 hp and +94 lb-ft torque and coddles your wallet with an overall 15% mileage improvement." I am sure it will give imporvement, but I wouldn't expect this much.
I am about ready to get rid of my Gibson Cat-back system, and I was thinking about getting this whole setup.
There doesn't seem to be a whole bunch out there for my 96 F250 460 and this looked like a good deal. $1500 at 4wheelparts.
I am not so sure about their "Ram Air" set-up though.....
I looked into the banks setup my my f250 460 as well. I went with different brands though and mixed and matched. I called banks and nailed em down about thier "ram air" setup. It is not ram air at all, just thier own terminology for a new airbox cover. Just a gimmick. The overall quality of thier stuff is amazing, but with it comes the price tag. I got gibson tri-y headers and a flowmaster, build my own custom intake assem and did it all for $500. And $400 was just for the headers!
Yup. Put the system on my '92 33' Class A. Did before and after testing with my G-TechPro. According to my testing I got about 15% increase in power. Mileage got a bit worse. The good news is that it is quality stuff, and fits well.
