E40D t-case interchange.

E40D t-case interchange.
Will a t-case removed from an 89 F350 with a 351W/E4OD fit on an E40D from a 1997 Ford E350 7.3L PSD van? The t-case is quite big and has a PTO mount, what is the series/model for that style. My 96 F150 has a BW-1356 but I'm unfamiliar with the 89 t-case. I want to use it to convert a 1996 F350 quad-cab 2wd to 4x4, I have a complete 89 quad cab 4x4 donor truck.

Great PDF, a real keeper for the favorites....My 96 F150 looks like a BW1356 but it has no PTO plate. The t-case in the 89 also looks like a BW1356 but it does have the PTO mount plate.
