I am looking for a new or used 351W block. I am planning on making it into a stroker motor. Does anyone know where I can get one of these. Also does anyone know where I can get a stroker kit. I have looked at strokerkits.com and didn't know if there where any others. I am looking for a 1970 mach 1 mustang like my dad had to put the motor into or I might put it in my brother's '84 LTD that he is transforming into a drag racer. Please tell me if those companies have internet addresses.
I just read in an off road mag that PAW offers a 302 stroker block and kit (350hp, 400ft lbs). I cant remember which one though. Summit also has 302 and 351 stroker cranks.
Is the stroker you are talking about a 428? A friend of mine said that a shop can rework a crank out of a 351M with a 351W block and make about a 428. I have looked for this a bit also with no luck, but will continue to do so. Post if you find anything, as will I.

Hey Rob have you tried Strokerkits.com? That is the site that I looked up and they have kits for a 377W, 393W, and what I would like to purchase, the 428W. The 428 is $1500.
I've done a bit of research on the stroker kits for 351's. They basically use a 400m crank that's offset ground to the correct stroke. From what I've heard, this can only safely be done to create a 408. Several places will do it to create a 427/428 but I'd be leery, that's a lot of cash to spend on questionable parts. Coast High Performance acually gives you a brand new, custom crank in their kits. They're kind of recognized as the leaders in the field, they started a lot of the Ford stroker kits. Check them out at www.coasthigh.com. They're not really any more expensive then the other places.
im not a spokesperson for paw but, they have a 427 in. stroker kit w/ block, heads, etc. and your choice of comp. ratio,9.0:1-street,10.0:1-street/strip. the only reason i mention this is cause my brother-in-law and i are putting one together for my 70 cougar.(10.0:1-street/strip)
the long block kit was $2995.00 everything is going together well with no trouble, all parts are of good quality and i am pleased so far. cant wait to get to the strip with this monster. the part no. is, #SPBFORW427
i hope this was helpful info for you, good luck, mocky
if you have any questions about a 315w stroker using a 351m crank i might be able to help. i built a 351w into a 416 stroker and also boared it .060 over stock, with that the engine displacement is now 426 ci..it's a daily driver and very reliable. it's in an 87 f 250 super cab 4x4..
Also be sure to check out http://www.flatlanderracing.com . They have great kits available for almost any popular V8. Prices are good and they have options on their kits to fit your needs.
