cleaning grounds

hello, my fuel gauge does not work and i have searched the forums and i think that i have a bad gound some where. the truck is a 1988 f-250 hd 351. my question is where are all the grounds supposed to be so i can check and see if they are hooked up and clean them up. thank you. allen t

The fuel tank ground (G801) is located on the left-hand (driver side) inner fender behind Headlamp.
The fuel pumps also use this same ground point.

thank you, well if the fuel pump is on the same ground then i guess i still have a problem. search forum here i come.

i was just wondering if the switch could be bad and still be getting power to the pump.

i will buy a switch next week. and post it, to see if it works, it seems that may be it since the front gauge works, thank you very much for your info.
