A4LD Rebuild Problems
I have a 88 Ford Ranger that me and my dad just rebuilt and I am having some problems with it. After we put the transmission back into my truck and started it up, we were able to get it to shift into drive but it wouldn't go into reverse and it also would have a hard time shifting into any other gear besides 1st. Also there are some times where when i slow down down and then try to accelerate again, the transmission doesn't want to go back into first for a little bit and seems like it's staying in neutral. It has no problem with a delayed shift when it is stopped though. It is an automatic. If anyone has any ideas then please let me know what i could do to solve this problem.
