How's your summer going?

Since we have had lots of rain, mine is up and down with work. It`s kind of hard to tell when I`ll have time off and when the work is going to be ready.
Seems like this summer is a big guessing game.
So far I`ve had time to tear down, sandblast and paint the 53 frame. Hope I have time to get it back together for a run or two yet this year.
Speaking of which it`s time to head out to the shop....

well, seeing as we're only about 6 days into summer so far, i've done nothing but work... thats pretty much the plan for me. try to get in a little dirt biking, some GTG's, save some mulah for a project, get back home in the fall, and last but not least...i'm going to try to survive...just trying to remember to breathe...

WORK!
One more day of spraying left - second pass on some canola.
Did cattle processing - brisket tagged the whole herd, anthrax shots, and vaccinations, did the same for the bulls, RIF tagged the yearlings and shipped them, and ran through all of this years calves - then used 5 quads to walk to pasture (did all this in one day, 6 guys and a big BBQ and about ten of those cheap cases of beer were emptied in the evening).
Grass cutting in this golf course sized yard is getting stupid - had two riding mowers, one tractor mower, one push mower and a weed eater going the other day - looks good!
Will get out the hay conditioner this week and get it serviced - may even cut some hay this week yet.
We have about 7 miles of fence to build, manure to clean, and a corral extension to do.
Summerfallow has been sprayed - will have to get it worked in the next few weeks.
Should also spend some girl time, some lake time, and maybe, just maybe, look for an off farm venture to make a bit of money for playing.

Other than that - pretty slack summer!!!!

So far so good, I just finished my spraying this afternoon, Ihave a couple of more loads of grain to haul and I have my yard work all caught up. I still have a few things in the basement to finish off then that is done. Then I will have time to work on the 78 and get it all spiffied up and a few things to do on the PSD.
