I have a complete dash with glove box, switches, cables, instruments, stock working AM radio, and wiring from a 74. Any idea on what it's worth? Just didn't know if folks were restoring EB's or just going with modern wiring, gauges, and switches these days.
A good working radio is worth $50-75. If the gauge cluster is in good shape and everything works properly, it is worth about $50. The cables for the heater controls are hard to come by in good shape. If the ***** are good and they slide easily, they are worth a little. OE tank switches are worth a little. The rest of the dash switches are available in the aftermarket so there isn't much of a need. Your 74 should have the hazard switch on the column. The early style that are on the dash are somewhat valuable.
The wiring isn't worth much. If the dash is pristine and hasn't been modified at all, you may find somebody to buy it.
I don't want to get into the legalities and ethics, but if you have a title to go along with the glovebox door, you should be able to find a buyer. Just want to make sure that they are legit and not trying to retitle a stolen vehicle.
This is part of my old 74. The vin plate was pulled from the glove box. Everything worked when I pulled it. It could use a coat of paint but has not been modified.
