Hi,
I just pulled an axleshaft on my 78 F150 tonight to get a wheel bearing and seal for it, only to find out that the part store does not have a listing for the bearing on it. They had the standard bearing on hand, but mine was bigger. My door tag states that the GAWR for the rear is 3580 lbs. and the largest one they list is rated at 3300. Any ideas?
i dont know where you live, but i would try another parts store. and even if none of them have it most can have it there the next day. if not try an online parts place that sells bearing gears etc. and if you in a hurry overnite the shipping. thats what i would do in order if it were my truck.
