oil pump
i have a 96 ford ranger with a 3.0 in it. it blow up the other day.i was woundering if i can put a 4.0 in it.or do i have to change the computer wiring harness and some other stuff? help!!!!!!!!!

To go 3.0L to 4.0L, you'll need an engine (obviously), transmission that mates to the 4.0L, as the engines do not share bellhousing bolt patterns, all of the computer control stuff including wiring, and possibly the 4.0L radiator depending on where you live. Some of the accessories on the engine will interchange, others will not.
A 3.0L will be a direct drop in.
