Fuel cell
I am thinking about bringing my old 77 out of the pasture for the mud bogs again. I want to add a fuel cell in the back of the truck.
Can I mount the fuel cell higher than the mechanical fuel pump and does it require any extra plumbing? I know a electric inline is better but not allowed with my class at some tracks.

If you mount it too high won't it continue to flow into the carb with the engine off? If you have lifted the body a few inches the carb could be much closer to the level of the bed of the truck.....maybe the pumps are tight enough to prevent any flow when the motor is off but that whole gravity thing is only working in your favor if you want fuel :-)
