Question Help Needed Badly......

This is a long one guys.....owner of a 98 Expy 4x4 with a 4.6 auto...with 190,000 miles on it....the story begins...comming back from the beach the temp gauge kept going up very high to around 220-230 range then back down to cool again....drove some 20 miles this way to get it home....upon inspection i found the thermostat sticking....So i flushed the cooling system several times and installed a new thermostat and upper and lower radiator hoses....this has fixed this problem....but now seems to lead me right into another one....the truck has a miss....very noticeable in low rpms....the codes P0303-P0307 and weirdly P1000 keep appearing....i have driven this vechicle some 60 miles and the light will flash....then stay on....then flash again and stay on....I have tried to elimate the miss by installing new plugs....wires....and coil packs on both sides....I erase the codes only to still have the miss and the light to come back on after several miles...I have read other posts on similar issues like mine....but now I'm at the point where I feel lost....the oil is clean...and no noticeable difference in the anti freeze....just a miss that won't go away....any help guys will be greatly appreciated.....Thanks..........

Jim, welcome to the board. Those misses can be a bugger to diagnose. Keep searching and you should find good info and hopefully someone with a similar situation will come along to help too.

Good luck.
