My vote went to the guys.

The lady driven vehicles in my family are terrible, my sisters car is always covered in what looks like gravel dust. My 86 has never been washed sinced I've owned it, it sits in the weather 24/7, but its still cleaner then her car.

my 96 on the other hand is washed once a week, weather permiting. Even if I didnt drive it that week it gets a extensive hand wash, and a matinance detail. I detailed the hell out of it when i bought it two years ago, since then i just do a little interior cleaning to keep it perfect. I'm extremly picky about that truck, I watch the local weather just to make sure its safe to drive it to work. It dosn't leave the garage for anything if its wet out.

If I had a bad day at work then cleaning my truck makes me feel better, and like wizzard said I park her out front for a bath so everyone can invey, just my little way of saying "haha my trucks better then yours".

I dont want to sound crazy, but i drive around with a couple plasitc grocery bags tucked under the seat. If I manage to get to my boots dirty I take em off wrap in plastic and drive home in my socks.

It's amazing how many women my mom knows that are astounded that she washes her own car. Her theory is, she's not spending the money for some min. wage worker who doesn't care when she can do a better job and do it the way she likes. Oh, she's not a car woman either.

hey I take great pride in my wonderful Ford truck. I wash it inside and ot got to love the rubberized flooring compared to carpeted, I pour water down and scrub the hell out of it and then hose it down and then take my squeegy and get all the water out hell I even squeegy the whole truck to get all the water off, and I don't have all the water marks on it afterwards either, and by my house they are doing road work so my poor truck gets dusty from all the dirt and what not from all the road work. I even get My truck cleaner than hubby does and get gets out his wax and wax's his he wanted to wax m truck and I said not till I get all my bondo done and then I will and he just laughs at me but he can go ahead and wax his truck but not mine and I agree with not wanting to pay for having it washed at a car wash and have them only half azz do a job lol.

I have to go with the guys overall, but it all really depends on the person. If a person, male or female, is a car person and that's what their into; they will always do a great job and take better care of their stuff. I handle all of the vehicles in my house, mainly due to the fact that my wife says that's outside and I handle that. The best our vehicles look is when I get an entire day with one of them, but the most fun I have washing is when I can get the wife to help now I have to start over?!?!?!

Geez,I dont know how to vote! Why you ask.Because at the last dealership I worked at we had two fine looking girls who did all the detailing,so when my truck or my Lincoln got dirty one of them would come and get my keys and make it look like new again. But then again,at the dealership I am at now,the detailers are guys.Although I have to take them the keys instead of having them come and get them when they see my vehicle is dirty, they still do a fine job.But if you were to ask me who I would rather "watch" washing my truck or my Lincoln,it would be females!

Women have enough to do with dishes, laundry. They also have a lot more personal hygiene stuff to attend to keep themselves smelling and tasting fresh. Personally I consider it my duty to wash my girlfriend's car and make sure there's gas in it and all the fluids are topped up. We're Wednesday by the way. She left Sunday night and I'm still eating leftovers from when she's here.

You're suppose to wash your truck?

That wasn't in my owners manual.

I had to vote for women, just because I have had my "97 for almost 2 years and I haven't washed it yet.

I voted "Men" because my wife has never washed/cleaned any of our vehicles!
